A stuck sync, or a photo that would not read

Stuck sync badge or a menu photo that would not read? Here is what to do.

Changes waiting to sync? That is normal offline: a badge shows what is queued. It uploads on its own once you have a connection. Give it a moment after you are back online before worrying.

If a badge seems stuck, check that you actually have a working connection, then reopen the app. Your offline changes are saved on the device and will not be lost.

A menu photo that failed to read is usually a lighting or focus problem. Retake it in better light, filling the frame with the menu, and try again.

A photo that fails to parse does not count against your monthly import limit. You are only charged for imports that actually produce drafts.

When an item reads wrong, you never have to accept it. Fix it in the review queue or add the item by hand. CaterKit never creates a row you did not approve.
